RECYCLED PRAYERS

Recycled Prayers are made from scraps of felted, second-hand sweaters.  These multi-colored lengths of flags were inspired by the refuse from a local clothing design company.  Toronto’s Preloved used second-hand clothes to cut patterns and fashion new designs.  Like any clothing production, a multitude of scraps were produced daily.  I collected these bags weekly, allowing the materiality […]
